We stayed at Green Gables this past weekend again. This is our go-to motel in Branson. The price is cheap and the motel is in great shape. We have stayed at similar priced motels in Branson before and will not be returning to those again. Green Gables will always have our business. Staff is very accommodating and are very welcoming.

Found this place on the Internet when on the road and made last minute changes to our travel plans. And now I can only say that all those positive reviews on Trip Advisor were right on target.
The location is great! The breakfast room has good coffee and an adequate breakfast to start the day. Paying a few dollars extra for a micro/fridge was well worth it and the price still a deal. Good beds. Great friendly staff! Good wifi in the lobby and breakfast room. This place is well-maintained and worthy of your consideration unless you want 5-star treatment.

We always stay here when we go to Branson. Great location, very clean, and the whole staff is friendly and helpful. Located right off the strip and within walking distance to some attractions, shows and restaurants. The rooms are always super clean. I can always relax knowing the rooms are clean and my things are safe while Im gone from my room.

Room Tip: They have added some fridges and microwaves to some of the rooms for a small additional charge, well...

Opening March 1st for 2013 Season

We are excited to start the 2013 Season on March 1st!!  

Southwest Airlines will start their flights in and out of Branson on March 9th.  They will have daily nonstop service to Dallas Love Field, Houston Hobby & Chicago Midway. Southwest will also have Saturday-only service to Orlando.  You can book your flight to Branson at www.Southwest.com !!

Silver Dollar City has a new ride opening this year - Outlaw Run!!  It is noted as the "world's most daring wood coaster", and is for the thrill ride enthusiasts!  We will be selling Silver Dollar City 2 days passes (2 days for the price of 1).

Moon River Theatre - we are excited to tell you that the "Irish singing sensation" Daniel O'Donnell will be at the Moon River during the 2013 Ozark Mountain Christmas at the 2pm matinee.  Cat's Pajamas & Oh, What a Night! will open in the Spring.  The Summer will feature Liverpool Legends - celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Beatles' first appearance on American TV.  Remember, Green Gables is just across the street from the Moon River Theatre...walking distance!!

Kirby VanBurch Show will move to the Music City Centre in 2013.

New show at the King's Castle Theatre (formerly Branson Variety Theatre) - Dancing Queen:  Abba's Greatest Hits.  The show will pay tribute in a musical extravaganza with singers and dancers performing those groovy 70's tunes!!

Thanksgiving and Christmas time in Branson...

November is a month of being thankful with Thanksgiving just a few weeks away. Branson is decorated for the Christmas season!  Silver Dollar City opened yesterday for An Old Time Christmas, which will run thru December 30th.  The Christmas shows are going strong in the theaters, and Joseph will continue to run thru the 29th at Sight and Sound Theater.  What an exciting place to be and visit to get in the Christmas spirit.  Give us a call today to make your reservations, as rooms are booking up fast for November, including Thanksgiving weekend.

Harvest Festival Time

It's National Harvest Festival Time at Silver Dollar City - Sept 13 thru Oct 27th!!

Starting to get cooler and what a relief from those 100 degree days.  Our weather is perfect here in the Ozarks with highs in the 70's and 80's!!  Great time for shopping, hiking or spending the day or afternoon at Silver Dollar City making great memories!!

We are excited at Green Gables Inn to announce the renovation is almost complete, due to the tornado damage.  I will post pictures once the guttering is completed.

Summer is a great time to come to Branson!  Silver Dollar City has water rides, along with White Water with all their water festivities.  The shopping malls have great discounts, and it's super cool in the theaters so you can see our many shows.  Lots to do at the State Park Marina on our beautiful Table Rock Lake.  Time to make some good memories in Branson...See you soon!!

Excuse our Remodeling

We are excited at Green Gables about our new remodeling project brought on by the tornado damage on February 29th!!  We have a great crew who will make it as painless for our guests as possible.  Thank you for understanding if they accidentally get in your way.  They have started on our new roof last week, and then surprise...our siding color will change. Stay tuned to what it will look like!

Happy Birthday Branson - 100 Years!!!

Happy 100th Birthday Branson!!!  We celebrated Branson Birthday on Sunday, April 1st, and our town will be celebrating for the next few months.  Come join in the Celebration!  It is amazing to see the changes that have come about since then in our awesome town!!  A Museum has been opened in Historic Downtown Branson, with Free Admission.  

Branson is up and running for the 2012 Season and what great weather we have had!!  Kind of strange that we didn't have much of a winter, but I'm not hearing any complaints...  Silver Dollar City has been open for a few weeks now, and most of the theaters have opened for the season with NEW shows for 2012!!  Lots going on in Branson now, so make your reservations today.  We don't want you to miss out!
