Christmas celebration in Branson....but don't forget Thanksgiving!!

As of November 1st, the theaters have changed their shows over to their Christmas Shows, and Christmas lights are up all around Branson to help you get in the Christmas mood.  Silver Dollar City has up 4 million lights, and you don't want to miss it.  The malls and outlet malls have great specials going on so you can find that perfect gift for that special person.  We for sure don't want to loose sight at this busy time of year as we celebrate the Reason for the Season!!  We do have a Nativity scene on display in our lobby to help us keep our focus that Jesus is the Reason for us celebrating this Season!!

We still have a week left before we celebrate Thanksgiving! So let's reflect on the month of November as a time to be Thankful!  We have so much to be thankful for this year.  I know for me, I am grateful to have good health, a job, great people to work with, a loving family, and I could go on and on...  I would encourage you to take time to thank the people and loved ones in your life who you are thankful for.  Many blessings to you as you reflect and spend time with those who you love during this Thanksgiving and Christmas Seasons!!

Your Home Away From Home

I love this picture, because you can also see the trees turning...  This picture was taken a couple of weeks ago.  This weekend, there is a Balloon Festival out at Branson Creek. There is also a Car Auction downtown, so always lots of things to do in Branson.

This coming week is the last week of the National Harvest Festival at Silver Dollar City, and you don't want to miss it!!  Silver Dollar City will close from October 30th - November 4th to decorate for Old Time Christmas, which will run from November 5th - December 30th.

Last Few Weeks Before the Christmas Season

What a beautiful time of year in the Ozarks right now!!!  The trees are turning all different colors, and the weather is just perfect!!  Even though it is raining today, it is suppose to be Sunny & mid 70's to low 80's the rest of the week and weekend.  This is a great time to come to Branson!

Silver Dollar City has the National Harvest Festival till Oct 29th.  Our theaters are all up and running with great shows and something for everyone.  I have recently seen Pierce Arrow & Clay Cooper's Show and they are both very entertaining and you won't be disappointed!!  We have several outlet malls and the Branson Landing - food, stores & entertainment downtown, along with all the shops in Downtown Branson.  You can either find a place to sit and relax or shop!  Again, there is something for everyone, while creating great memories with the special people in your life!!
